• Support value — save potential, team stability, and reduce-panic habits in eight-player chaos
• Information value — awareness that prevents walking into doomed rooms
• Forgiveness — how badly a mistake is punished for newer players

We weight public-match usefulness over private creator lobby highlight reels. Highlight reels still inform pattern recognition; they do not automatically equal S-tier.

Pomni (anxious survivor / mobility-leaning survival) ranks near the top for players who want a readable survival fantasy. Footage emphasizes tense traversal, careful room choices, and living long enough for the lobby to finish work. That longevity is itself a team resource: every second Pomni-pattern survivors buy is a second AIs are not deleting two teammates at once. She is not “easy mode”—anxiety fantasy matches the skill demand—but the play pattern teaches fundamentals that transfer to every other cast member.

A-tier observation — strong, less automatic

Jax (trickster / disruption) lands in A for most early lobbies. Trickster patterns shine when you convert chaos into teammate distance: bait, divert, create a messy chase that opens a corridor for someone else. They fall off when you treat disruption as a personal content farm and leave objectives untouched. Jax rewards game sense. New players who roll him first often feel “weak” because they are measuring highlight potential instead of round contribution.

If your friend group already has a dedicated support player and a dedicated looper, Jax climbs. If everyone is solo-queuing highlight hunters, Jax drops until fundamentals improve.

B-tier observation — situational or roster-dependent

Unconfirmed or freshly unlocked cast faces belong here until repeated public footage shows a stable pattern. Digital Doom’s roster will expand; do not invent mid-tier names just to fill a letter.
